Description
Decorate your kitchen, breakfast nook, library, living room or study with this set of two unique vintage finds. Created at the height of the Victorian Fern Craze, these prints showcase in great detail the intricate anatomy of various species of ferns. On one print, four different types of ferns shine – the Hard prickly shield fern, Alpine bladder fern, Annual maidenhair with its upper and underside and Parsley fern pictured with the barren and fertile frond.
On the second print there’s three different kinds of fern and their Latin names. There’s Bracken with large, coarse, and highly divided leaves, Moonwort, with a fleshy root and Adderstongue, a stalk-like fern that resembles a snake’s tongue.
