Description
This framed graphic art print is a reproduction of a vintage 18th-century botanical illustration. It is inscribed with a seal that states “To His Royal Highness Frederick, Prince of Wales This Plate is most humbly Inscribed”. The original illustration is from the first half of the 18th century and Prince Frederick, mentioned in the inscription, was very interested in landscape and botany. He started planting of exotic plants on his grounds, building a basis for the later Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. This wall art will bring history into a living room in a royal style for sure.
