Description
This luxurious piece of hanging wall decor, originally published in “Natural History, General and Particular, with a Description of the King’s Cabinet” in the mid-1700s by George Louis Buffon, depicts a set of mounted antlers. The right antler is of a much higher form, while the left antler is much smaller in comparison. We believe that this imbalance of shape mirrors the tendency for imperfection to exist in nature. Our artists were intrigued by the detailed and intricate depiction of these antlers from the original publication and enhanced this piece of wall art by introducing an aged background and a full coloration of the antlers. These enhancements give new life to this classic piece of art, making it the perfect addition to any living room or bedroom.
