As with all patent blueprints, this one too offers a look back into a past when things we use every day today were invented. In 1909 when this patent was filed with the US Patent Office, Albert C Fowler was proposing that his invention would produce a “long distance golf club” that would drive the golf ball much farther with use of the same force as previously available models. He achieved this by remastering the shaft of the golf club in a different way, to be rigid and springy at different times of the put.
The modern game of golf originated in 15th century Scotland, and ever since it has had a great following. This blueprint will be a perfect gift for that golf lover in your life, who will appreciate the sliver of the history of the game they love.
