Description
This piece of coastal wall decor, originally published in Edward Donovan’s “Naturalist Repository” in 1822, consists of a large seashell on an aged white background. This piece of hanging wall art is truly unique with its rich crimson coloration, strangely interesting shape, and seven prongs extending outward from the base of the shell. Our team of artists was inspired by the shell’s one of a kind shape and enhanced the original image by emphasizing the red hues of the inner shell. The aged white background brings a sense of age to the piece and serves as a reminder of the drawing’s scientific origins. This shell is the perfect addition to any bedroom or bathroom and is sure to be enjoyed by enthusiasts of fine art and underwater life alike.
