This botanical illustration shows four types of apples that were very popular in 19th century England, during the Victorian era. Apples are distinct in shapes, coloring and sizes but for all four depicted types were used primarily for cooking of sweets and preserves. Combination of red, green, yellow and brown colors brings a sense of late summer and early fall. The whole composition of the vintage print is completed by a graceful brown frame. This wall decoration will look good in any rustic or traditional living room or open space areas.
