Description
Patterns are everywhere. Everything in existence has a pattern, either as repeating shapes or as an underlying structure – and the same goes for art. This piece of abstract graphic art is a prime example of how seemingly simple repetition can somehow display balance, harmony, contrast, rhythm, and movement all at the same time. The squares transform from dark to light ones, becoming nearly stripes, and then going back – while on the other side, the yellow and gray squares form almost a circular shape – making the overall piece of art almost pulsating.
