Description
This bright and calming piece of wall art, originally published in Edward Donovan’s “Naturalist Repository” in 1822, depicts a pair of blue spiraling shells on an aged white background. This piece of wall decor was originally drawn as a scientific depiction of these shells, but our artists were inspired by the natural beauty of the shell’s shape and enhanced the coloration of the piece to accentuate the calming presence of these shells. The small and intricate ridges that line the side of the shell create complex organic patterns that make these shells the perfect addition to any bedroom or bathroom.
